Chris Neil and the Senators enjoyed a strong 2011-12 season; predicted by many to finish near the bottom of the standings, the Sens made the playoffs and came within one game of upsetting the first seeded New York Rangers in the first round.
On a personal level, the 2011-12 season was a good one for Neil as he would post his best offensive totals since 2006-07.
